Find iPhone Myanmar

Find iPhone Myanmar is a web-based platform designed to help users track stolen or lost iPhones within Myanmar. It incorporates OTP verification for secure access and an administrative dashboard for managing reported devices.

My role involved developing the full-stack application, ensuring robust security, and creating an intuitive interface for both users and administrators.

iPhone theft and loss are significant issues in many regions, including Myanmar. Existing tracking solutions may not be locally optimized or provide sufficient security features, making it difficult for users to recover their devices.

I built a secure and efficient tracking system with the following key features:

• Developed the user-facing portal for reporting lost/stolen devices and initiating tracking requests.
• Implemented a robust OTP (One-Time Password) verification system to ensure secure user authentication and prevent unauthorized access to device information.
• Designed and built the administrative dashboard, allowing authorized personnel to view, manage, and update the status of reported devices.
• Created the backend logic for device tracking, data storage, and notification systems.
• Ensured data privacy and security measures were in place to protect user information.

This platform provides a critical service to iPhone users in Myanmar, offering a centralized and secure way to aid in the recovery of their valuable devices.

This project has the potential to greatly assist individuals in recovering their lost property and deterring theft in the region.

Implementing secure authentication (OTP) was a key learning experience, emphasizing the importance of robust security practices. Managing sensitive user data required careful attention to database design and privacy protocols. The project also highlighted the need for clear communication channels between users, administrators, and potential recovery agents.

Future plans include integrating GPS tracking features (with user consent), adding push notifications for real-time updates, and potentially developing a mobile application for easier access.
